Layout change push notifications

Right now the app checks for seat map layout changes when you open it.

Would it be possible to automatically check in the background and notify users when the layout changes? This would enable us to grab better seats if/when it does.

I imagine this will become more and more common as BA is refitting their 789 fleet.

    Hey there - thanks for reaching out. We check for reward seat availability and seat map alerts proactively in the background, these notifications should arrive without you needing to open or check the app. However, we’re aware tail number assignments sometimes only notify when opening the app, which we’re working on improving. Do you have any examples of where there appears to be a delay on notifications being fired outside of tail numbers?
