Display pricing for reward flights

Is there a plan for adding what points are required to get the reward seats?

Like QA for instance, JFK-DOH might have many reward seats but in reality we need 200K Avios points and on some days, some seats are for 80K points on the same route.

Putting on calendar is ideal but if not, for each date or search, ‘From 80K points’ would be awesome if we have multiple flights or airlines on that particular day.

    Thanks for getting in touch, very helpful feedback! We do currently show the price if you tap on the reward seat availability, but it’s not intuitive and the data is messy. We plan to improve this so that the price is clearer and we will also add the recommended place to go and purchase those reward seats. I like the idea of having some sort of filter on pricing too when viewing the calendar view which we have in development.

      Also, if different airline partners have varying reward pricing, how would this be arranged? (e.g. BA could have cheaper JAL reward availability than CX)

        We’re a little limited in terms of the number of places we can get this data, but we’ll improve the pricing info to make it clear where the quoted price is coming from (and try and highlight in the calendar which days are cheaper).

      Yes I did notice that, takes few clicks to get to it. But, searching those for each date manually will take a lot of effort. Say we select a route, filter a class, open calendar for entire month, it shows Sept 19 is 80k points while rest of the month is 200k. This will help me understand quick rather than checking all dates for Sept one by one. Thanks!

    Thanks for flagging this. We need to improve the design of this pop up to show where the point of sale / data source. At the moment for reward flight it’s AA, so the price shown is accurate if you were to redeem via their site (which is slightly different to the Qatar Avios pricing). We’re working on this over the coming weeks so it should soon be much more intuitive.

      Would +1 this, it'd be a great feature to have. Would also be great if we can potentially as a middle ground (if I know how many miles are required by the lowest program) to return results/alerts only if that threshold is met or is lower.

        Thanks for your feedback - we’re working on a design that will show the price from each airline that enables you to book a given reward seat (eg American will show AA Advantage miles, BA will show Avios…)
