Airline Program Loyalty Link

Love the new Airline Loyalty status linking feature! The BA account linking worked great, but when I tried to link my AA account, I got an error reflecting that there was an invalid loyalty number linked. (Checked my number twice :)

I wonder if it may be possible to instead add a program just with the airline and the status level (as that would provide enough information to reflect potential seat availability for some of the loyalty-locked options).
